Sailmaker de Wit started in 1971 as an one-man business. Making sails (competition)sailboats, motorboathoods and cabriolethoods was the main goal.
The clientele changed after 10 years of working. The watersport clients were no longer the main branch of our company. Sailmaker de Wit started to grow very fast due to this decision.
Pipe floater and oilbooms
Shortly after the start of the company oilbooms were produced. We already have more than 45 years experience in making oilbooms. In addition, we also began with the production of our Flootzer pipe floater. The floats are made to keep pipelines, cables and hoses afloat.
